No I haven't put the words in the wrong order!! I know what is should read, but very sadly anybody who is anybody it seems to me prefers to keep it as the title reads. People like the Police, help TV programs like Watch Dog, The One show, Tonight, my list is endless and exhausted as I really have nowhere else left to turn.
It would seem to all and sundry that you can have your car stolen and absolutely no one gives a damn and won't do a thing about it. The DVLA will even go as far for the thief as to register it in his/her name. Where's the justice in that?? JUSTICE now there's a word. Sure the Police will give you a crime ref number when the theft occurs, then they rely on the insurance company to close the case for them. The very last thing the Police want is a phone call from the victim to hear that That they have just seen there beloved car advertised on say eBay as mine was or driven right past them on the road. Like I said I found mine advertised on Ebay, I even did the leg work to arrange a viewing hoping or should I say at that time believing that the Police would then come along to the arranged viewing location again in my case it was the services at jct 25 of the M5 (the location alone should have rung alarm bells to the police) but No. Firstly, I rang the Police in Somerset to let them know who to my great shock said it nothing to do with them, contact the police in the county where the theft took place, so I did and yes you've guessed Nothing they just didn't want to know. This was just 4 weeks after the car was stolen off my driveway whilst I was in hospital
So if there is a morale to this story it would read "If you are a thief and want to avoid detection or prosecution then help yourself to someone's hard earned motor car, because be assured there isn't a person or law enforcement or organisation in the land that is gonna do a damn thing about it, so enjoy!!!" So there really is a "PERFECT CRIME" after all.
